hype in a foreword do not mean much. Everybody will put their best
foot forward right here, but often good customer
services have been compromised or forgotten due to the overidding
concern
with
making a profit.
We take much pride in our work, in fact too much to

be sure, everybody claim to have strict screening criterias but we
practice it.
Selecting

good tutor is not an easy task, still, we will not accept just about
anyone and everyone who wants to become a tutor, not for the wrong
reasons, but only those who meet our criterias.
We
are not always perfect, be assured however, our success rates have been
high. Our intention from the beginning has been clear, we will work for
you honestly and with integrity.

a Straits Times report dated 17 June 2008 titled "Tuition

Mavis Toh, there were pupils in
Primary level
who have had up to 3
tutors for coaching differents subjects. There were those who enrolled
their children to several tuition centres with total tuition monthly
fee costing $3000.
Tuition
was treated as a necessity, otherwise as one
parent
who was an accountant put it "or the child will lag behind their
classmates as they all had engaged tutors too"

This
is a typical example of the most parents today; where the practice of
hiring tutors were privalent enough to have Singapore
labelled
as a
"tuition nation"
Even
children in the infant stage of learning at kindergarten and nursery
level were signed up for tuition as well. It has become a
kind
of
"syndrome"
The
survey also
revealed that those
without private tuition were a minority. About half had
private tutors while the rest attended tuition classes at tuition
centres. Most were tutored on English and Maths for a 2 hour duration,
with some included Science as well. Private
tuition did help students who were slower or shy in
class and the
survey
also showed the majority of the students found tuition to be useful or
even enjoyable.
